Pierre Luc Dumoulin - Executive Director

Picture

Pierre Luc has a passion for alpine sports. He grew up on a ski hill and could often be found doing hot laps after his ski race training was finished for the day!

PL, as most people know him, coached at
Lake Louise until 2012 after which he coached at the FIS level for Alberta Alpine, Alpine Canada and BC Alpine. Not only does he bring his technical knowledge of racing to the club, he also brings his passion for the back bowls and skiing off piste!

PL
is very excited for his third season as Executive Director for the Club and looks forward to meeting your athlete on the slopes!

Phil Pike - FIS Head Coach

Picture
Phil was born in Montreal, Quebec and lived there till the age of 15; that is where his passion for skiing all started. He then spent his  last few years of high school in Vermont at a ski academy racing FIS. After high school, Phil quickly made his way out west to continue his passion and pursue a career in ski coaching.

Jennifer Clarridge - U16 Head Coach

Picture
After finishing high school and her FIS career in Ontario, Jen moved to Alberta for university and quickly found a coaching job with the Lake Louise Ski Club. She spent almost 8 years with the club working with NG - U16 athletes. Since then she has worked with FIS programs in BC and with the Alberta Ski Team.

She has a huge passion for skiing, for the sport of ski racing, and she loves sharing this with her athletes. She also loves being in the mountains and when she's not skiing, she's usually hiking, biking, or climbing somewhere in the Rockies.

In the off season you can find Jen working at Atmosphere in Banff, or guiding canoe trips in Ontario. She is on the road a lot but is proud to call Alberta home and is stoked to be back with the Lake Louise Ski Club.

Ben Whitworth, U16 Assistant Coach

Picture
Ben Whitworth is from a small town in Quebec. For as long he can remember he has always been stoked to be on snow skiing. Starting ski racing at the age of 9 and racing for 9 years, with his last 3 years racing FIS in eastern Canada. When he finished his racing career Ben spent time coaching in Quebec. From that point Ben transitioned into his current career as an Airline Pilot. With the current world situation, Ben feels super lucky to get the opportunity to come out west to coach for the season. Ben has made his way out to the rockies in the hopes to get some awesome skiing in!

Emerson Brooks - U14 On Snow Lead Coach

Picture
Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec Emerson grew up skiing and racing the Laurentians.  At the age of 16 he began teaching and coaching at his local club. Skiing and coaching were always a passion.  Once Emerson had skied out every last minute and piece of terrain, it was time to move west.  He moved out west in the early 90’s and never looked back.

Teaching skiing became a full-time job.  Emerson worked his way through his levels attaining a Level 4 CSIA and CSCF level 2 with work in progress on the PL coaching certification.   He is currently still involved in training and certifying ski instructors with the CSIA, as well as helping out the Lake Louise Ski School with staff training.   Lake Louise Ski Area has been his home for 28 ski seasons. The great terrain has a given Emerson what he needed to push his skiing to the best it can be.  Over the years he has represented Canada at the 2011 Interski in St. Anton Austria, traveled to Chamonix, France to work with ENSA (Ecole National de Ski et Alpinisme) and work on ski technique and certification structure.

When he is not skiing, Emerson runs construction company in Canmore where he works on renovations and custom cabinetry projects. Emerson hopes to bring his years of experience and knowledge of ski racing to our U14 program and have a fun time doing it.

Devon Hawkins - U14 Assistant Coach

Picture
Raised in the Bow Valley, Devon spent most of his youth competing in anything and everything he could. However, alpine racing was his true calling. Devon completed 5 years of FIS, racing and training all over the world. When not on the ski hill, he can be found ripping around on a mountain biking, at the local CrossFit gym, or hiking the local peaks.

Devon is excited to bring his diverse ski racing knowledge and experience to the Lake Louise Ski Club.

Feel free to ask Devon about his passion for algae-based foods.

Megan Aubrey-Wake - U12 Head Coach
