She has a huge passion for skiing, for the sport of ski racing, and she loves sharing this with her athletes. She also loves being in the mountains and when she's not skiing, she's usually hiking, biking, or climbing somewhere in the Rockies.
In the off season you can find Jen working at Atmosphere in Banff, or guiding canoe trips in Ontario. She is on the road a lot but is proud to call Alberta home and is stoked to be back with the Lake Louise Ski Club.

Emerson Brooks - U14 Coach

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec Emerson grew up skiing and racing the Laurentians. At the age of 16 he began teaching and coaching at his local club. Skiing and coaching were always a passion. Once Emerson had skied out every last minute and piece of terrain, it was time to move west. He moved out west in the early 90’s and never looked back.
Teaching skiing became a full-time job. Emerson worked his way through his levels attaining a Level 4 CSIA and CSCF level 2 with work in progress on the PL coaching certification. He is currently still involved in training and certifying ski instructors with the CSIA, as well as helping out the Lake Louise Ski School with staff training. Lake Louise Ski Area has been his home for 28 ski seasons. The great terrain has a given Emerson what he needed to push his skiing to the best it can be. Over the years he has represented Canada at the 2011 Interski in St. Anton Austria, traveled to Chamonix, France to work with ENSA (Ecole National de Ski et Alpinisme) and work on ski technique and certification structure.
When he is not skiing, Emerson runs construction company in Canmore where he works on renovations and custom cabinetry projects. Emerson hopes to bring his years of experience and knowledge of ski racing to our U14 program and have a fun time doing it.

Liam Naish - U12 Head Coach

Liam grew up racing and skiing in Alberta. After two years of skiing FIS, he hopped right into coaching. Along with working in the mountains he also dedicates most of his free time there as well. Climbing throughout the summer and ski touring in the winter, there isn’t a time he doesn’t yearn for peaks. To support his life and gear addiction, Liam is a carpenter through the summer months, currently working on film sets. Liam is also pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Alberta University of the Arts, majoring in painting. Liam is looking forward to hitting the slopes with the U12 crew and sharing some laughs.
